I love calling the Foothills my home! I enjoy Residential and Rural real estate with a burgeoning interest in specializing in Commercial Real Estate. I have been putting families into homes side by side with my full time partner, Laurelea Burritt, for over 18 years.
FUN FACT: Laur is my aunt and best friend. We are the Bates & Burritt Team.
Growing up in the city of Calgary and surrounding area with the back drop of the Canadian Rockies, I was fortunate enough to end up close to family in Turner Valley for my high school graduating year. I am so grateful to be raising my beautiful daughter in our dream home surrounded by our amazing family and friends! I love the small town feel of neighbours helping neighbours and support everything local.
In my spare time I am honoured to be President of the Foothills Lions Club and a member of the Diamond Valley Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC).

Born and raised in Calgary I moved to the beautiful Foothills in 1994 to raise my young family. What drew me here was the close proximity to nature and camping with quick and easy access to Calgary and Okotoks. I enjoy the friendly small town culture along with the tremendous bonus of all the important amenities in place including an excellent school system. I wanted to share this little piece of heaven and it wasn’t long before I found my calling and passion for a career in real estate.
I remember the wonderful world of real estate before the internet and cell phones, experiencing the highs and lows of the various markets over the past 29 years.
I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people that started as clients and ended up friends, smoothly transitioning hundreds of families into homes and making real estate dreams come true.
